Daniel Covino works at at Lee Andrews Group on projects related to public affairs, government relations, community events and outreach. He also does research for projects and his extensive knowledge of information technology supports critical research tasks for the production of collateral materials.
Daniel graduated from Cal State Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications and Public Relations. During his college career he was elected to Associated Students, Inc. as a class representative and as Vice-Chair of Legislative Affairs for the California State Student Association.
He was also a founding member of I.D.E.A.S. (Improving Dreams Equity Access and Success) at his previous university.
Daniel has a background in advertising, public relations and fundraising. He has extensive experience working with organizations such as the LA Chamber of Commerce, Sensis Advertising Agency, Smithsonian, The California State University, fundraising for top California politicians and is currently a reporter for the Phoenix Tech Scene.
Daniel helped plan and organize the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Cesar Chavez Day of Remembrance. In his free time he enjoys surfing and volunteer efforts like restoring native California plant and animal habitats.
